"We Are One Body"

This will be my seventh year teaching at Cure' of Ars, and I am going on my tenth year of teaching throughout my career. Over the past 9 years I have taught preschool 3, preschool 4, Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. I attended Cure' of Ars as a student and am so happy to be back working in such a wonderful community! 

 

I attended Kansas State University for college and received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Special Education. I was thrilled for my first teaching job at another catholic school in town, but was not more excited then the year I was able to move over to Cure'. It has been such a joy, not only teaching students academic skills, but being able to spread the love of God to so many children. 

 

Going on five years ago this October, I was married to my husband Frank Allen.

Mr. Allen also attended private Catholic schools growing up, all the way through his college experience at Rockhurst University. On the side of working, we enjoy traveling, spending time with family, playing tennis, reading, and seeing movies! 

 We have two children, Patrick (3 years old) and Madeline (baby). Patrick will be attending Cure' of Ars in 3 year old preschool this year. Patrick and Madeline bring so much joy into our lives and we hope you will get to meet them soon!

 

I am looking forward to a faith filled year with a new group of families and students! I strive to provide a positive experience for both the students and the parents. My goal is to get these kiddos ready for second grade academically, socially, and with their faith. Feel free to contact me any time!
